10/10 WOULD RECOMMEND. Very good food and very good service. Although at times the place can get a little overwhelming due to the high volume of people, it's ultimately never a problem.

We enjoyed a great family dinner with family members visiting from out of state at Tabaq. The food was fresh and delicious. We especially enjoyed their Butt Karahi's, in both goat and chicken varieties. Service was attentive and friendly. Ambience is informal. Their decor reminds one of a tropical rainforest. Different for sure, but unclear which region of Pakistan is that evocative of. The food quality is why you go there and it doesn't disappoint. If you're in the mood for authentic Lahori dishes, this is the best place in the tri-state area, bar none.

The food here is amazing and the service is very good too. They were so accommodating for the birthday and let us bring a cake and celebrate too! The ambiance is beautiful with a very fun atmosphere. Their decor is really nice as well and the owner was very nice and gave us free chai as well. It was overall a very nice experience so definitely give this place a try.

Loved the food here. Great option for Pakistani food, and one of the better places that I know of. We were not super hungry so shared: -goat biriyani. This dish was fairly decent, but not fantastic. Wouldve preferred a stronger taste from the goat. That said its a decent option at around $12, especially given that the plain white rice here is $5 -mix grill. This was extremely good. There was a lot of meat, it was all cooked perfectly (very juicy), and extremely flavorful I'll definitely return for the mix grill. Will try some of the curries as well next time. Note that they have a fee (over 3%) for using credit card. Parking lot is fairly large

Tabaq Was an interesting dining experience. It was a mixture of 2 cuisines. Pakistani BBQ such as tikkas, kabobs, biryani, nihari and various other curry dishes and then they had their own version of Chinese cuisine items. We went with the Chinese food items and ordered the chicken sesame, chicken fried rice, chicken Manchurian and for appetizer, I had to get my Papri chaat. The chaat was very good. Came with all the fixings and seasoning. The chicken fried rice was the best dish of all the items. The flavor was excellent and there were plenty of veggies cooked with the rice. The Manchurian chicken was good also. I liked the flavor and the seasoning/spice was on point. The chicken sesame according to the waiter was the most popular item. It was aweright in my opinion. I didn't like the sweetening sauce in the dish and the cornstarch they must have used. It did not taste like the sesame chicken that I'm used to eating at a Chinese restaurant. Overall I was satisfied. Will visit them some other time again.

One standout dish is the chicken fried rice, praised for its excellent flavor and generous portion of vegetables. The Papri chaat appetizer also receives high praise for its authentic taste and seasoning. However, some dishes like the goat biriyani may fall short of expectations.
